We’re headed home!

It’s been a busy few days of work! We are hoping to get a break in the rain today long enough to host the town fair. Even if today’s weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ve already accomplished so much. We’re loving El Paso!

1 Timothy 4:12 NIV “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Heartwarming to see the youth on this mission trip and what they are accomplishing on our first day! (This is a much needed project in this church, I promise!)

We have arrived safely! (Missionaries need to eat, too.)

The El Paso mission team is pulling out! Keep us in prayer this week.

Our beloved friend Richard Egner stepped into eternity early this morning. Richard's health had been failing over the past couple of weeks, and his passing was not unexpected. Rosalie and other friends and family members had been gathering with Richard early this week in anticipation of his final days with us. HRCC will host a memorial service for Richard this coming Saturday, June 8. Visitation will begin at 2:30pm and we will have a formal memorial service at 4:00pm. Rosalie and the family have asked that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House charities in lieu of flowers. We would appreciate help from any HRCC members that may be available earlier in the day on Saturday to help set up tables and chairs for the dinner service. Please let Kelly Greco know if you can help by emailing her in the church office ([email protected]).

The HRCC children's ministry financially and prayerfully supports Ms. Katie Benson. She is a missionary who was ordained by the AG at district council last night. We are proud to know and support such an incredible young woman!

We hope all the ladies are excited for the Hospitali-tea event THIS SATURDAY!

Here’s a look at this past Monday at KiC, when our teens learned about the New Covenant in Christ and shared communion in small groups with their leaders.

VBS is coming! We are going back to an ancient civilization to hear how God used missionaries to spread the gospel. 😃 If you have helped in the past or would like to hear about this summer's program, please stick around after church on Sunday for lunch and a preview of the fun we are planning.

Join us tomorrow morning as we continue our series on the Holy Spirit. We will consider the great power that raised Jesus from the dead and how that same power brings about joy in our lives. ❤️ We will also we enjoying some Juicy-Os donuts and other yummy treats together at 9:30 before the family service at 10:15. We can't wait to celebrate with you! 🙌

C.O.R.E! is back tomorrow, April 10, at 6:30. Come hungry for ice cream 🍨

Parents of C.O.R.E! kids - Remember that we are on Spring Break! No C.O.R.E! this week (or next week because many of our leaders will be on the Haiti Missions Trip!)

The C.O.R.E! Outreach event (in partnership with the KiC youth group!) raised over $1700 for children's cancer therapy research! The participants shaved their heads once they raised their personal goals - so don't be surprised this Sunday when you see a few kids and adults with no hair! 👀😆💇‍♂️💇‍♀️
